Squadra Avocats has advised the Société d’Investissement France Active (SIFA) in the framework of its share capital investment in AfB France.
AfB gives a second life to computer hardware and a new start to people with disabilities. Its activity consists in collecting computer equipment at the end of the cycle from companies, erasing data, repairing them and putting them back on the market at a low price, with a one-year warranty. To this ecological action is associated a project of solidarity since AfB trains and employs people with a handicap in all the departments of the company.
The advisory team consisted of Louis Néret, a partner in charge of the Social Impact practice in the firm, and Kevin Poujol, a corporate associate.
AfB was advised by Latham & Watkins (Alexander Benedetti, Noémie Lopes-Lemières and Sharon Mitz).
